A graduate of Seton Hall University School of Law, Isabel Machado has been practicing education law for over 15 years, as general counsel, special education counsel, and during labor negotiations. Isabel Machado is especially familiar with board policy, administrative matters, and special education law, and she has published and presented extensively about various education law matters. Currently, she serves as the founding partner of the Machado Law Group, an education law firm in Clark, NJ.
Beyond attending to her professional responsibilities, Ms. Machado plays an active role in the community; for more than a decade, she has volunteered as a leader for a local Girl Scout troop, and she has taken great pleasure in watching the girls in her troop grow into strong women. Her duties in this capacity include coordinating monthly activities and meetings that promote development and facilitate peer bonding. Beyond her work as a Girl Scout leader, Ms. Machado serves on the Advisory Board for St. John the Apostle School and volunteers as a cheerleading coach for a Pop Warner group.
