My job as host entailed opening the door for and greeting customers upon arrival, as well as showing said guests to their table/booth. Other tasks included cleaning, menu distribution/pick-up, setting up tables for large parties and conveniently accommodating guests with any other needs that may arise. I also worked in the back washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen and doing minor food prep.

My job as shift captain involved many different duties; as the name implies, I lead the shift. Any problems that may arise, I was responsible for taking care of - from managing food waste, dealing with disgruntled customers, to slow ticket times. Essentially, the actual assistant managers relied on me to ensure that the shift ran smoothly in the kitchen. Duties include: food prep, fry cooking, line work, cleaning as you go, customer service, opening/closing the store, cash handling, and customer service.
