The purpose of the project is to provide a market leading, direct to customer, white label online portal for investors, to assist management companies in attracting and retaining direct business. The purpose was to ensure that(1) advisers could not overcharge clients(i.e. Initial & Ongoing remuneration),(2) advisers were paid correctly by IFDS(3) clients were charged correctly for IFDS fees(e.g. Annual Account fees; Investment Management fees; Stamp Duty; Dilution levy; Brokerage, etc.) and that(4) these charges were correctly deducted from client accounts(i.e. Disinvestment of stocks if not enough cash was available to pay the charges). My role involved being hands on i.e. Investigating and proposing to senior management the usage of data driven automation to test IFDS's fund supermarket platform. I was also involved in improving Testing services/functions within Business Intelligence and Arrogated Data Repositories.
