Undergraduate Thesis

Name of the thesis : Stress Analysis of planetary gears in Automatic Transmission System.

Softwares used : Solidworks and Ansys workbench 15

Short Description : Stress analysis of gears can be done both theoretically and experimentally.But theoretical calculations may contain human errors and experimental setup needs a good amount of money and effort.In this age of CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) before advancing for experimental setups computer simulation is done for most of the analysis works.Simulation softwares are very effective for analysis of different Engineering properties.In our research work stress analysis in simple planetary gear box was done using finite element analysis. Ansys wokbench 2015 was used for the computer aided simulation.

Undergraduate Project

Name of the project : 360 degree distance optimizer and ball shooting Robot.

Softwares and Systems used : Microcontroller and Arduino 

Working principle 

  1. 360⁰ servo motor controls rotating body.
  2. TX RX of sonar sensor detect any obstacle as target and measures distance.
  3. If found, the 360⁰ stops rotating.
  4. 180⁰ elevates barrel at an angle according to distance.
  5. A DC gear motor pulls trigger to shoot ball.

Industrial uses

  1. Can be used to throw object to a certain distance and target.
  2. Can be used to throw balls in sport practices.
  3. Can be used in military action.
