I am a contributing member to PSI CHI which is the national honors society for psychology majors, as well as Sigma Alpha Pi which is the national honors society for leadership and success. The experience of being a part of both of these organizations have given me tools that help me communicate more effectively and have left me with a desire to always improve; whether it be from an organizational or personal standpoint.
To obtain a position out of college that will allow me to utilize my skill sets of psychological research/communication, while providing me with an opportunity to grow and develop within the company.
I believe to be an effective professional one must be properly educated. My University of Hartford Bachelor’s degree, focused primarily in psychology and communications has given me a great foundation upon which I hope to build my career. My undergraduate experiences have also allowed me to delve into professional situations in a hands-on manner. Through the University I have experience as an experimental researcher, and have been a member of various faculty search committees. I also bring a consistent professional background that actively demonstrates my managerial abilities as well as my willingness to work with others.
