Supervise 13 full time employees. Manage two mission-critical groups– (1) Banner/ Luminis Portal/ Oracle Administration Team (OAT) with 5 employees and (2) Helpdesk/ PC Client Support Team with 8 employees. Facilitated conversations for group charters and Lean CAIRO, System dependency charts for both groups, developed follow-up process and prioritization of tasks. 7 years total experience supporting SungardHE Banner Student, Finance, Financial Aid, Human Resources. Published project documents using SHAREPOINT portal. Currently working with student services, web team and Sungard to implement Luminis 4 channels and distributed content management through REVISE CMS, portal single sign-on, Microsoft integration with Banner channels, SOPHOS anti-virus , FTC red flag rule, FERPA etc. Worked as a liaison between Information technology and state auditors to enhance security and comply with internal control methods.

Manage a student recruitment and financial database and datamart using SungardHE Banner and Noel-Leviz enrollment-growth statistical model, and a CollegeNet production database for 1000 events. Assist the Director of Financial Aid with federal and state program compliance and updates from SungardHE.

Key Accomplishments

  • Spearheaded migration from a legacy environment to an Oracle-based SungardHE Banner ERP system. Established project charter, scope, delivery schedule and design documents for integrating student transcript, duplicate PIDM, food service, housing and payroll interfaces with SCT Banner. Developed processes to produce 10th day snapshot for datamart and to support learners' concurrent curricula objectives and outcomes.
  • Enhanced visibility of support services through Information Technology Collaboration Hive, by developing project metrics. Also created IT Project Performance Metrics and Strategic Human Capital Assessment and Planning as a part of 2-year Certificate program in Public Management.
  • Effectively partnered with IT Strategic Planning to develop Oracle PL/SQL and Java standards, and with CIS on a re-hosting project integrated with new payroll automation system.
