Project Manager-ICT Established human capital management information system implementation for Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation, the state governed insurance provider with 3000 employees over 150 Branches Island wide. Drove project from conception through completion. Launched two new websites and re-launched two internal portals for Human resource department. Led deployment, network installation and integration of 450 time and attendance devices across the island. Launched motor claim android mobile application for claims representatives of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation. Consulted with company motor department to identify key requirements, defined project scope, developed project plan and schedule, provided leadership to internal ICT teams on project and daily production issues. Facilitated issues resolution. Prepared and presented timely status reports to the users and internal senior management. Minimized the motor accident's information unavailability for the back office staff to start processing the claim from 2 days to 4 hours. Collaborated with the internal marketing team, third party software partners, telecommunication service providers to develop and launched SMS gateway that maximized product sales and generated additional revenue opportunities. Initiated comprehensive issue tracking process to ICT data center and ICT help desk which improved the communication and issue resolution for cross internal functional teams, external third party vendors and senior management. As ICT project manager for General insurance domain acted as the escalation point for change requests and defect fixing on Core insurance system and worked closely with department team heads to prioritize issues and coordinated troubleshooting efforts. Conducted resource planning and budgeting; tracked costs to ensure adherence to budgetary limitations. Brought in supplemental service revenue of approximately $600k with projects averaging $400k.
