Fluent in English, French, and Hindi, financial strategist Inder Singh is skilled in advanced technologies, an expertise that has enabled him to advise the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on issues of national security relating to technology. Throughout his distinguished career, Inder Singh has held senior-level positions for such companies as Prudential Securities, the American Express Company, AT&T Corporation/Lucent Technologies, and Lehman Brothers Holding, Inc. Today, Inder Singh works as the Vice President of Corporate Portfolio Management and Long Range Planning for Cisco Systems, Inc.He is responsible for the company's financial strategy.
In 2008, Inder Singh moved into his executive role with Cisco Systems, leaving Lehman Brothers Holding, Inc., where he served as Senior Vice President of Data Networking and Wireline Equipment. In his new position, Mr. Singh has led Cisco's key processes in finance and strategy, in addition to co-chairing the firm’s investment review board. Inder Singh is also responsible for prioritizing Cisco’s large-scale investments each year, which involves the management of funds exceeding $20 billion annually.
Inder Singh’s educational foundation began at Columbia University in New York City, where he received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Engineering. After Columbia, Inder Singh went on to earn a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University while working for American Express as a Senior Financial Analyst. The company promoted Mr. Singh to Manager of Business Planning during his two-year span with the company before he accepted a job with AT&T/Lucent Technologies.
