Summary

My name is Candace Beth Longton. I was born on Superbowl Sunday (my daddy wasn't the happiest camper). I am an only child. I have lived in Michigan all my life. I attended Riverview Community High School in Riverview, Michigan. I played basketball, softball and volleyball and was honored most athletic of my class. I graduated in 2004 and attended Kettering University in Flint, Michigan where I graduated in December 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering. Kettering had a mandatory Co-Op program where I got my internship with Motor City Electric Co. in Detroit, MI. During my college career I had the opportunity to study abroad in Germany for 3 months. I visited 14 countries while overseas. In college I also played intramural sports such as basketball, softball, volleyball and flag football. I worked for an Electrical Contracting company (Motor City Electric Co.) for 5 years as an Engineer. I was awarded Employee of the Month for February of 2009. I am a pretty laid back girl that likes to work out, snowboard and stay active. I am in love with cooking and will cook anything for anybody due to my passion for it. I am basically a private, executive chef for my boyfriend. I have one weakness in life...that weakness is food. Good friends and good food is all I need in life to make me happy. I am super organized, maybe too organized. People from work thought I didn't come in sometimes because my desk always looked like no one has sat there. They tried to move things on me to see if I would notice...let me tell you...I did. I love to listen to music and sing, even though you don't want to hear me because its pretty terrible, but still fun. I also love to clean, listen to music and dance simultaneously. I now live in Ogden, UT with my boyfriend. I moved out here November of 2009 due to me getting laid off in October of 2009. We will be moving to the Denver area in December 2010 when he departs from the Air Force, unless I get out there first. I am looking for a career in the field of Electrical Engineering and/or Design and I can definitely tell you, you won't be disappointed. I am creative, independent, trustworthy and a self-motivator and you don't need to ask me twice to do anything, I always put forth 110% into everything I do. And one last note...I am never late...I am probably the earliest person ever to anything!
