LA Demand and Supply Planning & Logistics Capability-Supervisor

Role: Demand and Supply Planning for Snacks business in LA. Coordinate launch strategies and regional demand. Production, Shipments, Orders, Stocks and Forecast daily Management, as well as creation of scorecards, performance maps. Analysis and reports for the LA Director and Vice President.

Deliverables: Total development, standardization, implementation and improvement of control systems for the regional demand forecast, as well as other business measures., allowing better visibility and understanding for regional managers, business units and countries.. Theses systems allowed total alignment and numeric differences (from 1500 stats units to 33), helping to make better and faster decisions. Creation of development and capability plans for LA in the Planning area, understanding needs, deficiencies of the different teams in the region. Other interesting achievements: stocks reduction 65% (from 77 days to 50), reducing costs.Shipments actual vs. Forecast from 64% to 97%.

Data Management Manager for LA

Role: Lead the master data in SAP quality assurance projects for LA, for Finished Products, Price & Promotions, Customers; key information for the reporting systems and Order to Cash process, globally and regionally. Develop standard processes and control systems (Scorecards), to detect and reduce defects, allowing the focus on zero defects, for a flow less business execution. Coordinate activities, projects, and integrations. Workloads, career plans, salary for each member of the team.

Deliverables:Considerable improvement in the quality of the information: from 86% (July’02) to 98% (Dec.’03).Response Time: 73% to 100% same period. Reduction of 30% of department resources, and relocation from México to Caracas in less than 2 months, due to new work process strategies, and cost efficiency (US$350M).No impact on Customer Service.

Enterprise Data Management Manager – Mexico y Latinoamerica(Dic’06-Current)

Role: Lead the Enterprise Data Management Organization (Data Migration/conversion, Data Governance,Data Quality,and Business Intelligence (BW) for the SAP ECC 6.0Implementation in PepsiCo Internacional de Mexico and Brazil inside Project Evolve.

Deliverables:

Design and Implementation of the EDM strategy for Pepsico Internacional de Mexico and Latinoamérica, for the areas of Data Migration, Data Quality, Data Governance and Business Intelligence (SAP BW).

Design the new organization, as well as the Master Data Management Processes, for the creation of Materials and Finished Products (SAP MM), Build of Material (BOM’s), Customers (SAP SD), Vendors, Cost & Benefits Centers,Chart of Acct, Fixed Assets,in SAP.

Achieve the successful implementation without any business and operations interruptions, of the a implementación exitosa y following modules in SAP: FI-CO, MM, IM, QM, PP, SD. A total of four (4) go lives in one year.

Influence and help the global data organization in Pepsico (COE), as well as different countries in the World (China, Netherlands, Egypt, Germany), with the data strategy and creation of processes al ready implemented in Mexico.

Design and execution of Key and End Users training. Coordination of personnel activities in the area, working with consultants and employees. Get necessary resources, and establish new processes for the new organization of the future, for Raw & Packs, Finished Products, Customers, Bill of Materials and Vendors (Suppliers) management in SAP.

Deliverables: As BIS & Master Data Help Desk Manager for Latin America: design, implementation and management of the whole department located in Costa Rica, supervising personnel activities, resources, workloads and priorities, assigning additional projects, and evaluating the necessary capacity to provide quality service to all the users in LA, as well as scorecards, performance measures, trainings for users, work plans, salaries, and career interests of the team.
