Leadership Activities

  • Elected as the Key Representative of the International Students and Overseas Students’ Association (OSA) in a discussion with the Singapore Minister of the Ministry of Community Development, Youth & Sports, Dr Vivian Balakrishnan on 25 Mar 2008.   
  • Appointed as the Head of Operation in-charged of leading and organising the OSA Live! 2008 Talent Show which successfully attracted more than 800 audiences, and the presence of Guest-of-Honor, Mr Goh Kee Nguan, CEO of the Youth Olympic Games and the VIP Mr John Conceicao, Director of Education Services, Singapore Tourism Board.
  • Nominated as the Chairperson of the First OSA FunBuzz’07 Telematch Organising Committee to spearhead the planning and implementation of the event which successfully attracted more than 300 students, and secured 5 sponsorships from vendors: DBS, M1, ESA, SmartTel and Kaspersky.
  • Elected as the Student Welfare Chairman of the 2nd Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Overseas Students’ Association (OSA) to provide leadership in organising cultural and recreational enrichment events and to render assistance and advice for international students.
  • Appointed as Student Mentor and Council, responsible for leading and organising several activities for students at the university.
