Speak advanced conversational Spanish. Completed the most advanced courses at Ulpan Etzion, an elite intensive Hebrew language study program in Jerusalem.

I have used various content management systems to manage the flow of material and to package it in a user-friendly way.

I have created basic webpages and updated existing templates to meet content needs.  I also have a basic working knowledge of CSS and Javascript.

Other Ways to Contact Me

I am extremely active.  I enjoy running and have participated in many road races, including a half marathon and completed training for the Los Angeles Marathon (didn't finish - never try anything new before a big race!)  The discipline required taught me a lot about persistence and setting and reaching goals.

I also play tennis and ski when I have the opportunity, which doesn't come often enough in Israel.  Instead, I practice yoga, which luckily you can do anywhere.

I read lots of non-fiction, particularly in the areas of religion and international affairs.

I enjoy cooking and am a bit of a coffee and chocolate snob.

In the world of online media, who you are personally can very quickly catch up to you professionally.  This doesn't scare me.  Who I am among friends is who I am among colleagues.

First and foremost, I am a writer.  I have a degree from the Medill School of Journalism and years of experience reporting and editing in both print and digital formats. In the field of marketing, I stay true to the fundamentals of producing quality content that can stand on its own, even before all the hype and hyperlinks.

Staunch about crossing t's and dotting i's, I am nonetheless unafraid to take risks.  From starting my writing career as a high school student by covering the New York Giants training camp, even though I knew nothing about football, to backpacking solo in South America in order to volunteer and work on my Spanish, to becoming an observant Jew and moving to Israel, I don't let much stand in my way when I feel it is the right thing to do.

My versatility means that I probably understand your target audience, and if I don't, I will quickly learn.
