Profile

I am passionate about communication in any form, but especially writing. Hence why I joined voluntarily a local Danish project and later a local student magazine. In my previous jobs I worked a lot with texts, optimizing written content as best as possible for the receiver.

I have been working with marketing tools, both online and offline, and constantly try
to improve my graphical and technical skills .

Working with Adobe InDesign and PhotoShop developed a taste for more creative work in the marketing field, and urges me to further thrive in the modern digital marketing field.

My colleagues described me as flexible, good at working independently and meeting deadlines, and helped me to work efficiently in a Danish speaking environment on a everyday basis.

Marketing Assistant

Erhvervsrådet Herning & Ikast - Brande, Birk Centerpark 40, Herning, Denmark

A big breakthrough in my field experience was to work in an office where the daily working language is 99% Danish. At Erhvervsrådet I worked primarily on the online & offline marketing content, as well as assisting on other projects under the organisation, such as Expat in Herning & Ikast-Brande, KEY Networking, Midtjysk Lederforum, and several other projects.

My main responsibilities cover the areas of:

  • Online and offline communication 
  • Website optimization of several webpages, i.e. Wordpres, DynamicWeb 
  • Social media & newsletters for Erhvervsrådet and Expat in Herning & Ikast-Brande 
  • Content creation, i.e. invitations, flyers, booklets, posters 
  • Survey creation, i.e. SurveyMonkey
  • Designed and deployed a Wordpress website, created logos, styling,etc.

Writing texts and doing it particularly in English, is one of my strongest skills. Being part of a quarterly student publication, I was responsible of the editing and preparing of all articles before they go further to proofreading. I was also in charge of managing the content and meeting the deadlines, as well as making sure that the the provided text meets the grammatical and contextual requirements of our magazine guidelines.

My main tasks at FOCUS were:

“Working in Lemvig” Project, Project Management

After my experience in the project Working in Lemvig, I managed to interact with a very diverse international group living in the Lemvig area, and be part of a dynamic team that was also responsible for organizing cultural events. The final work result was a report – magazine.

My main tasks within the project were: 

  • Take interviews, write articles, make graphs and illustrations for the magazine on  international workers in Lemvig Kommune and their employers
  • Perform qualitative/quantitative analysis      
  • Help arrange meetings and social activities for internationals in Lemvig Kommune
