I have been in vocational ministry since 2001 specializing in student ministry on university campuses. I worked with Campus Crusade for Christ from 2001-2006, after which I was accepted to the M.Div. program at Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis. During our time in Saint Louis at Covenant Seminary I served as an adult nurture pastoral intern at The Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church through the church's college ministry, Reformed Campus Fellowship, and teaching adult Sunday school classes.
In 2011 I was called by Covenant Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church in America to be the Campus Minister of Reformed University Fellowship at The University of Tennessee at Martin.
Amy was my direct supervisor during 2005-2006 in the Human Resources Group at Campus Crusade for Christ's Global Headquarters in Orlando. She has since moved on to a position at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. Amy is a Master of Arts graduate of RTS Orlando.
Josh was a fellow M.Div. student at Covenant Seminary and a good friend. He and his family have moved to Billings, MT to plant a PCA church among Native Americans living in the city.
Greg is a Ruling Elder at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church and is on the Adult Nurture Team which oversees my internship.
I served the church through co-teaching an adult sunday school class through the book of Isaiah and by leading the church's college ministry at Lindenwood University, Reformed Campus Fellowship. My focus there was on leadership of a weekly Large Group student gathering on campus with worship and preaching, leading small group Bible studies, meeting with students one-on-one for evangelism and discipleship, and leading our team of pastoral interns.
As the college ministry of the Presbyterian Church in America, Reformed University Fellowship exists to "reach students for Christ, and equip students to serve" on over one hundred university campuses across the United States. As the fifth RUF Campus Minister at UT-Martin in 20 years, I took over leadership of an established campus ministry reaching out to the 8,500 undergraduate students of UT-Martin with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
A ministry of evangelism and discipleship on the Louisiana State University campus. My ministry foci at LSU included students in the Honors College, Pre-Meds, and members of the LSU Greek community. Leadership of small group Bible studies, co-ordinating with student leaders for planning and implementation of weekly large group "Cru" meetings, preaching, and interaction with university faculty and administration for approved ministry activities.
