College Student  majoring in Special Education and minoring in Interpersonal Communication. Immense passion for encouraging others through motivational speaking engagements at several universities and schools in the area. Currently working on expanding leadership opportunities to LD student programs in MPS schools. Passionate and engaging motivational speaker/student rep for students with disabilities. Involved with leadership on colliegate level through various organizations such as Student Foundation, Campus Crusades for Christ, and FairHaven nursing home volunteer. Involved with research at Marquette University- Stroke/Neurological Research. Camp Counselor for 6+ years assisting adults and children with disabilities. Career Ambition: To run for Miss Wisconsin and obtain masters degree in special education, and conduct stroke research studies for Harvard University.

Objective

To use my education to further the sucess of disadvantaged kids in the current school system by combining leadership, enthusiasm, advocacy, and humor to the classroom.

Interests

Motivational Speaking programs aimed at disadvantaged or underprivelaged kids in MPS School District. Encouraging students through leadership/Advocacy seminars to be their best. Going to school to become a motivational speaker/spokesperson for the American Heart Association and national advocate for LD students. In a couple of years, I hope to run for Miss Wisconsin,study abroad and travel the country talking with disabled students about expanding  their leadership/Advocacy in school programs. My friends know me to be a very funny person, very talkative and I have a natural talent of making others feel better. I love to laugh and absolutely adore ballroom dancing. I love meeting and networking with new people.
