As a strategic communications professional working with varied industries, I bring media savvy to the projects that I pursue. My communications training comes from project work at The American Bar Association, National Geographic, the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation and ABC Heart of Illinois News. I am currently seeking freelance work building interactive social media campaigns and developing web content. My most recent campaigns include helping launch the Up With People International Alumni Association Web site and implementing social media guidelines and best practices for the American Bar Association Judicial Division. As an undergraduate, I spent a semester studying documentary photography at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies and served as an Assistant Editor for my collegiate newspaper. I was awarded the Burgess Award for Excellence in Journalism for my leadership role at the newspaper. I graduated summa cum laude from Eureka College with a major in communication and minors in sociology and photography. As an undergraduate, I was named a Ronald Reagan Fellow and Eureka College's student Lincoln Laureate. Upon graduation, I was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship in Hong Kong.
