Curriculum and Assessment Design

I have worked with colleagues to produce Technology Integration Curriculum Guides, the Technology New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards Articulation Guide,School and  District Level Technology Plans, and the New Jersey Technology Assesment of Proficiency and Integration (Grade 8 technology assessment) for  the district.

Web Design

I work with, provide workshops and support school-based technology coordinators and teachers who maintain their school websites.  We primarily use FrontPage and Dreamweaver to create and update websites.  I have also worked with School Leadership Council Chairmen to assist them in creating Wikis to post agendas and minutes.

Staff Development

As a Resource Teacher Coordinator, 70% involves staff development and coaching.  My primary objective is to provide school based technology coordinators with an arsenal of tools and resources to integrate technology accross the curriculum.  One can find me providing workshops and one-on-one sessions for teachers with high frequency.  I also provide virtual support to my colleagues through creating moodle environments, managing a private ning network, facilitating a technology coordinator listserv, and blogging about rich technology tools that are guaranteed to ehnance instruction and improve teacher productivity.

Technology Integration

Technology Integration is my primary level of expertise.  I can take a look at curriculum and determine how technology can be used as a tool to enhance an instructional experiences for students. From my experience as an instructional leader, project manager, educational technologist and teacher, I bring my expertise in technology integration and data management to my role as an educator. I understand the need for quality web-based assessment tools that provide immediate feedback and practical data reporting.It is my goal to meet the needs and exceed the expectations of all stakeholders to ensure that students, educators and school districts are empowered to succeed.


I enjoy maintaining a blog that keeps the educational community abreast of educational technology tools and trends.

I am a member of two sororities.  Both sororities afford me opportunities to volunteer and participate in community and civic service initivies.  I serve in leadership capacities for both organizations.

I am a lifelong learner. One can always find me taking online courses, participating in webinars or reading trade journals. 

I enjoy working with peers and supporting their endeavors towards improving their capacity for learning about instructional technology.

I participate in face-to-face and online personal development academies and cohorts to learn about  effective leadership practices.
