My goal is work in the finance/ banking industry in a competitive working environment where I will continually develop new financial skills and where I can further develop my leadership abilities.

Currently I am working for The Land Bank of Indianapolis as a finance intern.  I am working with the Indianapolis Treasury Department to gather data and forecast property tax revenue scenarios for when the Land Bank is fully functional.

I also recently completed a 16 week internship for Partners in Housing Development Corporation in Indianapolis. My roles varied from day to day, and this allowed me to gain a vast amount of experience in different areas. I shadowed construction managers, analyzed cost-benefit relationships for heating and cooling products, and worked along side with the finance department on budget planning and reconciliation.

For  two years prior to my more recent experiences I was the manager of a small restaurant. I was able to motivate my employees to work hard while maintaining a friendly, team-oriented atmosphere. Also, as a manager I developed the ability to foster relationships with our suppliers. I worked directly with food, beverage, and cleaning suppliers to make thousands of dollars in orders. My ability to communicate clearly our time constraints and product needs has been essential to the functionality of the restaurant. I am confident I can bring these and other skills to any job.
