IES Abroad Barcelona

Studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain for a semester in order to complete my emphasis in Spanish for my major. My coursework included different area studies from literature to Spain's history that challenged me to learn and utilize my Spanish-speaking skills.

I grew up listening to and speaking in Tagalog because my parents are originally from the Philippines. My speaking skills are moderate, but I am more capable to listen and understand the language.
I have taken four semesters of Japanese courses in college. I also studied abroad in Tokyo through IES for a semester to complete my Japanese Area Studies minor.
I have taken Spanish all four years in high school, three years in college, and I even studied abroad in Barcelona to complete my emphasis in the Spanish.
