I am a graduate of the University of Mobile , Bachelor degree in Sociology, with a minor in Psychology. I am currently pursuing my Master degree in Counseling/Psychology, with an anticipated graduation date July 2010. I feel that I could make an immediate contribution in any position requiring creative thinking and problem solving. I am goal oriented, possess strong leadership skills and fully understand the importance of deadlines. Provide clinical and case management services in individual, group, and family therapy
mode, utilizing techniques and theories especially suited for individuals in the treatment
population. Review psycho-social assessments to develop treatment plans and case
plans , consult with other staff regarding appropriate mode of treatment
and interventions with clients. Maintain cooperative relationships with treatment
community, juvenile probation department, and other necessary and authorized agencies.
Assist in provision of treatment services that meet center operational and service level
requirements. Provide case management services during program participation and for
the coordination of continuing care, perform urinalysis drug screens, responsibly for
Drug Court and First Time Offender Programs. Ensure content of client file in full
compliance with Medicaid, and contracting agency standards and regulations regarding
clients file data entry, quality of file content, timeliness of entries, timeliness of file
updates and archiving, and timely, accurate, and related documentation and
corresponding billing records.
Counsel foster children and families; ensure client receives essential and court order
services, crisis management, conducts weekly in home visit with each therapeutic foster
child in caseload, facilitate treatment team meetings, provide supervision and monitor
compliance of foster parents with the implementation ofthe foster child treatment plan
within Medicaid and Foster Home guidelines, attend ISPs and IEPs for caseload, assist in obtaining/ maintaining school placement and consult with school officials regarding
child’s academic, behavioral and emotional development, coordinate Treatment Team
meeting for child on a quarterly basis and develop new or revised treatment plan and
submit for approval, on call for weekend and after hours emergency/crisis situation,
comply with all Medicaid rules and regulations regarding provision of Medicaid services as well as Medicaid billing , maintain accurate, organized, and timelydocumentation of all client interaction (documentation includes: weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports) and acts as an advocate and safety net to clients.
