Work Description: A leading apparel retailer offering wide range of product, ranging from clothing and accessories for infant, toddlers and children up to 14 years old under the PONEY and RENEW brand name. Responsibilities: • Manager / Head of Department – To manage, direct and control the financial affair of the department. These include advertising, promotions and events (consumers and trade). • Report to the Managing Director of Poney Garments Sdn Bhd. • Worked closely with Sales and Fashion Department to create Quarterly Company’s Promotional Plans i.e. Season Collections, Special Events / Annual Event, Merdeka Celebrations, New Year Countdown, Hari Raya Celebrations and Chinese New Year Promotion. • Organised ground events. This entails securing of venues and all peripherals and maintaining a good relationship with venue owners. • Negotiate and monitor contra arrangements with media owners and specific venue owners i.e. Shopping Complex. • Monitor trade activities from all Media and circulate to Sales Department the relevant information and articles on a regular basis. • Acquired and maintained the stocks of Corporate Gift items aimed at promoting goodwill with the trade.
