I am an Editor for the Research & Consulting Department at CB Richard Ellis Vietnam in Ha Noi, Vietnam. My current responsibilities include editing the Quarterly Report published by CBRE each quarter, editing research consultancies and other client reports, preparing presentations, developing topics for white papers, and providing support to department members by performing research and related tasks. In this role, I hope to develop new strategies to streamline the process for updating research and to take on new responsibilities in the department. I have traveled extensively throughout much of South East Asia, including Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand and Singapore. As an Economics Major, I concentrated my studies on the political economic development in emerging market economies with a focus on the effects of globalization on Asian markets. I hope to fuse my interest in Asian economic development with a career in real estate, consulting, research, business development, etc. as I plan to live and work in the Southeast Asian region for the foreseeable short-term. Additionally, I am certified to teach English as a second language, having received a TEFL certification in March 2010 in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam.

Town of Needham, Massachusetts
As an intern for the municipal offices at the Town of Needham, I conducted an extensive assessment of the Building Department's database, containing all building permits issued from 1900-2010. I checked all the status of all permits in the hard copy form to ensure that they were correctly entered into the electronic database as "open projects" or "closed". I then conducted a statistical analysis that determined the proportion of permits that were in fact open or closed building projects. Statistics were analyzed by building code and by year. My report will be submitted to the state of Massachusetts. The conclusion of my report may influence the state to enact similar assessments of municipal databases to check for accuracy of the permitting process. Following my internship with the Building Department, I served as an office assistant for the Town Manager's office. In this role, I assisted in all operations of daily office activities. I edited drafts of financial and development reports to be used for meetings for Town Officials.
