I worked with both AVAYA employees and outside customers by dispatching telephone technicians to repair or install telephone/computer equipment and assist customers with software installations and repairs. This job often required me to listen to angry customers who were having troubles with other telecommunications entities other than AVAYA, but our policy were to help the customers as much as possible without transferring him/her to anyone else. I often interceded between the local bell companies and their customers to get a job repaired. These were large business customers such as hospitals, government offices etc.
