Ian J. Norris, CIC is an experienced insurance executive based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A lifelong Florida native, Ian J. Norris completed his education at the New College of Florida and has been working in the state ever since. Ian J. Norris now runs Sabal Insurance Group, a commercial insurance agency based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ian J. Norris began his career in the insurance industry as Vice President and shareholder of Seitlin Insurance & Advisory Services, a company with locations in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach. After a nine-year tenure with Seitlin, Ian J. Norris joined The NIA Group, LLC, a Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC subsidiary with offices in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida. For three years, Ian J. Norris acted as Hub Executive for The NIA Group before launching his own insurance agency, Sabal Insurance Group, Inc. Founding Sabal Insurance Group, Inc. six years ago, Ian J. Norris provides insurance services locally and throughout the United States and Latin America. As Principal and President of Sabal Insurance Group, Inc., Ian J. Norris conducts direct supervision of new/renewal account marketing and carrier relations. Additionally, Ian J. Norris is responsible for contracting with direct markets, wholesalers, and specialty carriers. Ian J. Norris’ adept leadership has produced a growth of over 20% in year-to-year sales since the founding of Sabal Insurance Group. Ian J. Norris enjoys spending his free time fishing and following the Miami Dolphins.
