Performed in-depth evaluation and due diligence of existing operations of $12 million transportation equipment leasing company with global operations (UK, US, Singapore and Holland).


  • Succeeded in increasing initial MBO offer by going out to market. Located and initiated discussions with an alternative 3rd party buyer.
  • Negotiated deferred payment offer into cash offer to accelerate exit strategy. Achieved sale value 50% above original estimate and negotiated 35% cash/65% deferred payment offer into 100% cash.

$24 Million, 250-Employee  Manufacturer and Global Distributor of Specialty Stainless Steel Containers

Led organizational turnaround and held full P&L accountability for all aspects of operations - strategic planning, finance, product development, marketing, sales, manufacturing, procurement, distribution, IT, HR, customer service/relations - for this manufacturer of stainless steel containers used in transportation of hazardous liquids. Led a core management team of seven executives, and managed HR and labor relations for an additional 225+ employees.


  • Rescued and stabilized the company in less than eight months - reduced losses by $4 million (from $6+ million to $2 million) - by designing and executing aggressive turnaround, reorganization and change management initiative.

Managed P&L and operations of multiple business units - tank container manufacturing sites in South Africa and Europe, and sales and service organizations in USA, Far East and Europe. Built and led team of ten cross-functional executives, and provided indirect management to 1100 employees worldwide.


  • Achieved 2000% organic growth over eight years and delivered $7 million in bottom-line profit, YE 1996.

Ltd./AECI), and CEO (Benoni Engineering Works).
