Work experience

Aquatic Director/Head Lifeguard

YMCA Family Y Center

As a head lifeguard I was in charge of my lifeguards and in charge of the aquatic section whenver my supervisor was gone.  I made sure my co workers had their training up to date and I supervised and participated swimming lessons.  Most of the cases during lessons we had to close the pool for the public because we had a classes that included 500 students per day.

Rescue Diver and Assistant Scuba instructor: I participated as an assistant scuba instructor with SUB AQUATICS SASS with Rich Sass and Tom Thinnes from Battle Creek, Michigan.  One of this trips was to dive with Jim Aberneathy at West Palm Beach.



Kingman Museum

Published my tests for the Math & Science center for Kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.  Test focused on science projects and tours at Kingman Museum.

1. My military career started out as a specialist in the field of weapons of mass destruction (NBC). I became honor graduate out of Basic Training (Seven month specialty training) out of Ft.Leonard Wood MO, 2003.  Out of merit and peer evaluation, I was recommended to Officer Candidate School.  In 2004, I was commissioned and a week after graduation I was assigned to take command to my first unit as a rear detachment commander.  

2. My first engineer unit consisted of 140 personnel and its heavy million dollar Equipment.  I participated in getting the unit ready for Deployment to Iraq.  Together with the full time staff, we made sure that equipment (heavy) was loaded properly on trucks. While the unit was oversees I took charge of the rest of the unit at homeland and also completed officer basic course from the field of Engineers, 2005.

3. In 2005 when the unit came back from oversees. I was responsible to make sure that personnel and its equipment  was accounted  for.  We did had an investigation for security reasons that lead to a sworn statement.

4. In 2006, I took charge of a platoon, vertical construction.  During our two week annual training my NCO's were building a building.  We also completed a  project together with civilian architects to built a parking lot on airport in Camp Grayling. 

5. In 2008, I was food service officer with headquarter to make sure that 700 personnel had food during annual training.

University of Michigan

On the civilian side, I was teaching two laboratory courses of Phylogeny for Dr. Thomas, at the University of Michigan.  I graded the courses as well.  Two of my tests were published. The course prepared students for medical school and the MCAT which is the medical test that lets students into Medical Schools in the USA and Canada.

I was teaching German 1010 for Dr. Olivia Gabour-Pierce. The two courses were about 42 students. It was a higher level of German.  Focusing on German reading, poetry, and literature.

I was instructing two courses lecture and lab per semester of Biology 101 for non-majors.  I designed my own exams and lab tests.  We used technology in the laboratory section. My students enjoyed working with the compound microscope.  We used the internet quite a bit for research.

I followed the semester lay out for the teacher who was on maternity leave. I was supervised by other teachers and principal Kolassa.

Taken on line classes on the higher level of Education.  I had been involved in Education for the last 10years.  At the end with the program that was offered by the University of Phoenix I started working as an Adjunct Instructor and moved up to Professor at the University of Michigan.

Get my self around in Spain.  Listen to spanish whenever there is a possiblilty.
