As Talent Acquisition Advisor, my role is to partner with the business during the tender stage to secure the right talent to meet our Client's needs and expectations.

Some of the Major Projects bid recruitment that I have worked on include Riyadh Metro, Makkah Metro, Doha Expressway, and Hamed International Airport.

Voltas Electro-mechanical Division (EMD) - International Operations has been operating in the Middle East for the last 35 years and has delivered iconic projects such as the Ferrari experience, Formula 1 race track, Burj Khalifa, Emirates Palace Hotel, Al Udeid Air Base, and many more. A TATA GROUP company, Voltas has created a niche for itself as one of the most professionally-managed MEP contractors.My primary responsibility involves talent acquisition for EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) Electro-Mechanical Projects & Services in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

I was primarily responsible for Talent Acquisition for the UAE & Bahrain offices and also support other international locations including Saudi Arabia, Oman & Qatar. My role involved,

• Managing entire recruitment life cycle i.e. from receipt of manpower requisition to physical on-boarding of the recruited staff.
• Working with the Line Management Functions to understand their recruitment needs and to develop, gain agreement to and implement recruitment policies and plans to meet these in the most effective way.
• Strategic recruitment involving headhunting successors for key positions as advised by the Top Management. Pro-actively understanding business needs, studying attrition data and maintaining an active database of CV’s.
• Market intelligence involving comparator mapping for the MENA region, studying project life cycles through online & print media and identifying prospective talent for future recruitment.
• Ensuring PMPI (Process Management & Process Improvement) & company’s Recruitment Policy is being adhered to all time to ensure right people are being recruited for the right position at the right market premium.

Job role and responsibilities:

I joined MSI in Sep 09 and was entrusted with the responsibility of developing a new vertical i.e. Construction and Oil & Gas and effectively build a strong client and candidate database. I am responsible for business development, contracts (T&C) negotiation, candidate sourcing, implementing effective client relations and delivery, head hunting, conducting initial cv screening and technical interviews, setting up meetings between the client and shortlisted candidates, conducting reference checks, liaise with the clients with regards to the offers/ employment contracts and finalise the placement, do regular follow ups with the client and placed candidates to ensure higher retention rate, invoicing and collections.
