About Me

Chelsea-Rae Kravitz has been told she has a natural way of communicating and has a face for television. Chelsea-Rae is a California State University Chico graduate. She majored in Journalism with an option in public relations and a minor in Health Science. She has a passion for communication and entertainment. She was born and raised in Ventura, California but took the leaping faith of experience and the interest in new things to move to northern California for college. The education she has received at Chico State has lead her to be well educated in writing, editing, communication, health in all aspects as well as her passion for the entertainment industry has broadened. Her hands on experience working with non-profits for more than 5 years has given her the skills and talent to manage large projects and large groups of people. Although Chelsea-Rae has made a phenomenal impact on hundreds of youths, her passion for marketing, advertisement, entertainment and public relations is ever lasting.

·Partner with the Director of Operations, Administrations and Executive Director in all program planning and fundraising events, including, but not limited to, Smart Start (10-30 members), Smart Girls (16-25 members), ManCAVE (16-25 members), Summer Camp (20-50 members), Dances (40-100 attendees), Open Gym (10-40 attendees), Keystone Club (10-15 members)

·Duties include event planning and production: budget, marketing, entertainment, decor, community relations and publicity

·Created all flyers, newsletters and brochures and distributed them to over 50 locations bi-monthly in the Lake Tahoe Area

·Responsible for the Teen Summer Camp, which is a nine-week summer camp (20-50 attendees). Duties include, but not limited to, planning the hourly programs, fieldtrips and excursions, budget management, communicating with key stake holders, communicating with parents and collecting permission slips and publicity.

·Responsible for attending all local community events as a representative for Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe

·Perform specialized administrative duties required to support the Manager of Member Services
