Live, Laugh, and Design
I live my life by this motto. Throughout my four years of education, I have continued to develop my passion for Interior Design. Finding the solution to a problem is exhilarating. The ability to make someone’s house a home, an office a workspace, a museum an experience.
I not only have a passion for design, but I also am heavily involved in my community. This is something that I feel is needed to develop an overall rounded person. I have worked with both mentally and physically handicapped youth and adults, elderly, Alzheimer patients, and foreign exchange students. Through these experiences, I have learned a great deal about myself and how other people view the world.
International travel has also been an important aspect of my life. I have been to Europe, Africa, South, and Central America on numerous occasions. At a young age, I was interested in other cultures through their lifestyles, art, and culture as a whole. I use what I have learned through this in my daily life. I have learned to appreciate what I have here in the United States and the daily privileges that I receive.
