In 2001, I was living and working in USA due to I was selected in order to have a Professional Development Program during one year in GM North America, working and learning processes for the Salary side of the organization. I was in several places Corporate Offices, Engineering Center, Power train HQ, etc. Main achievements were implementation in México of variable compensation plan for executives and Organization Development Process.

After the assignment (2002), I came back to GMM Headquarters in México City.

As PD,I took additional to Union Administration all related to Salary side and additional areas as, Product Evaluation Program (Fleet Control), Cafeteria, Safety and Occupational Health, Security (executive Protection and Site Investigation), Suggestion Program, Work Teams, Recruitment and Selection ( Assessment process), training for both sides ( Hourly and Salary) skills and non skills.

I was in charge 2 years during this time the main achievements were, the best negotiations on time and cost (wages and benefits) inside of Automotive industry, implementation of the Work Team Process in Toluca Complex, best 2 years on Safety across GMM( OSHA ), Loss Control Implementation ( Security) and the best savings trough Suggestion Program.

1997 - 1999

I started working for GMM in Aug. 1997 as Labor Manger ( Silao Complex), during the time that I was in chargemy main responsibilities were, to maintain strong and candid relation with the union, with no experienced members and with the background of Leader’s change every year and all the related issues with union administration( wages/ benefits negotiation,pay roll, all about laws as Social Security Inst., Federal Law, Infonavit, etc.). After 2 years in charge, the main goals were accomplished; it was the first time that one Union Committee finished the elected period, the shortest negotiation on time and objective, only 2 days (they use to close at list in 3 weeks).

After this assignment, I was promoted to Personal Director in Toluca Complex (1999).
