I am organized, enthusiastic, and firmly dedicated to the teaching profession.  I am committed to professional development as an educator, as well as the responsibility of holding my students to high expectations. 

My objective is to obtain a teaching position at the elementary level whereby I can meet the individual needs of my students.

★Eighteen weeks teaching experience, with ten weeks of full-time teaching responsibilities, including unit and assessment planning 

★Experience team-teaching and collaborating with colleagues 

★Implemented guided reading groups, literature circles, hands-on learning centers, cross-curricular units, and writing workshop

★Developed a unit in which student scores improved an average of 

57% from the pre-test to post-test

★Developed effective classroom and behavior management systems

★Fostered written and verbal communication with parents; regularly updated classroom website to provide students with home support 

★Attended all grade level and faculty meetings, as well as professional development meetings
