Senior Client Service Manager

Vision Critical

Senior contact for all client service matters relating to UK omnibus and field and tab services. Taking the client from the point of quotation through to delivery of data/invoicing. At this point I stepped away from our core insight community business (see Account Manager description below) to focus on our market panel services.

In addition to day-to-day client service matters, I was heavily involved in new business ventures such as attending industry networking events and handling majority of fresh inbound leads from our press and digital marketing. During this period I was working part-time, 28 hours p/w spread over 5 weekdays.

Client Service Manager

Vision Critical

During the period spent working in this role I split my time between our licensed insight communities (see below job description) and setting up Vision Critical's proprietary UK market panel.

As the proprietary UK panel was conceived and set-up, I was the designated project owner for UK market. I was responsible for liaising with the creative and recruitment teams based in our Vancouver HQ to set up the panel and ensure recruitment needs were met and remained within budget and our target launch date.

Produced the sampling frames for the various national samples that we aimed to recruit against, using ONS and NRS datasets.

Worked closely with the sales team to build up a roster of clients for our omnibus/field&tab services, a completely new market for Vision Critical at the time. I also worked to establish new cross-business revenue streams by promoting our market panel capabilities to our insight community clients.

Primary point of contact for the first generation of VC's insight community clients in the UK

I was responsible for taking new clients through the community set-up process, advising clients on best practice for all areas of the community website design, features and messaging.

Project manged client research projects. Depending on the client this could either run as full-serve, from brief to report or as a form of field and tab.

Produced quarterly reports on insight community health and ensured contract renewal and invoicing matters remained up to date.

Drafted panel communications such as newsletters and website content. Worked alongside the panel recruitment team to recruit members via a variety of methods (client CRM lists, external agency networks, Facebook/Google ads)

Clients I worked with in this role included: CNBC Europe, Institute of Directors and BBC World

Employment Gap: Traveling with friends across North America. Offered a job back in London whilst in Vancouver.

Initially recruited as panel support assistant, responding to member queries/issues and promoted within three months to the above role.

I acted the the internal point-of-contact for queries relating to sample feasibility and timings.

Produced panelist feedback reports for senior researchers on their fielded projects.

Advised researchers on messaging for our more unusual/sensitive projects.
