Service Wing Solutions is a start-up company providing Decision Support and Data Intelligence solutions to the Hospitality, Healthcare and Fitness industries leveraging a SaaS platform and Web 2.0 technologies.   I was recruited by the CEO and Board to manage the definition, development and market introduction of all products including performing all market research, setting market share, growth and profitability targets and facilitating customer adoption and post-sales support.

6 Ways I Have Added Business Value at Service Wing:

1)I led the definition of the product vision, created all market research, competitive analysis and product definition (MRD/PRD) phases for 3 industry-specific solutions. Engaged three “lighthouse” accounts during product definition; each account adopted the product in phase 1.

2)Managed all off-shore product development to insure on-time delivery of phase 1 and 2 products.Made critical trade-off decisions to keep scope of development clear and on track.Tracked software customization, defects and issues. Involved during each phase of the SDLC.

3)Developed technology strategy and implemented business intelligence solution purchased by first customer.

4)Implemented eXtreme Programming (Agile) & SCRUM development methodology with 12-person India-based team that resulted in a 3 month acceleration in time to market and reduced FTE headcount by 25%. Applied Extreme Product Management (XPM) principles to create the minimum artifacts required to deliver a product the market wants.

5)Secured Round 1 funding by presenting corporate vision, product concepts and market growth opportunity to groups of investors.

6)Leveraged the use of Drupal platform for internal development and new support website.Solution was deployed quickly and helped focus their web development team on higher priority, business-oriented projects.

Responsible for specifying and managing all marketing and sales data management activities for the CRM vertical. CDC software is a multi-industry CRM/ERP solution provider with 2,200 employees and annual revenues of $400M.

- Specified new Marketing Automation tool suite to be leveraged and partnered with IT to create an integration plan and rollout. - Performed SEO management, including analytics reviews, link building and landing page optimization of CDC website using HubSpot, SEOmoz and Raven tools. Improved landing page conversions by 50%. - Managed the strategic & tactical development of CDC's prospect and sales databases by working closely with Campaign Managers and Sales Managers. Increased alignment of database to target market by 300% and improved data accuracy/completeness by 200% doubling Qualified Lead generation in 30 days.- Analyzed marketing campaigns (email, search, PPC, etc) and provide strategic recommendations for increasing reach and coverage of current leads into sales pipeline. Recommended immediate use of additional analytic tools to consolidate dynamic results and help pinpoint weaknesses in SEO strategy.- Implemented database strategy for merging multiple CRM systems and data sources. - Utilized data warehouse tools and statistical techniques to conduct advanced segmentation based on target criteria proving enhanced visibility and reporting across all marketing programs. - Defined metrics and implemented data quality scorecards to measure databases effectiveness. An enterprise supply-chain and logistics solutions company with annual sales revenues of $50 M. I managed the definition and development of all enterprise-level solutions and their integration with customer ERP, MRP and CRM environments.

- Provided competitive intelligence and market research to define complete product strategy and roadmap for new class of enterprise shipping solutions.- Led a 6 month cross-organizational consulting taskforce to define process flows, carrier selection and freight auditing workflows for domestic and international enterprise customers. Six Fortune-500 "lighthouse" accounts were identified. All adopted new product resulting in over $2M in revenue. - Delivered MRD/PRD with prioritized features including competitive analysis for three new product modules. The successful launch of these 3 products resulted in $2.5M in new software revenue and $2M in new professional services engagements.- Worked with leading industry analysts (Gartner, AMR, Aberdeen) to validate market readiness and market size for new enterprise software solution. Analysts fully endorsed our go-to-market strategy and estimated adoption over 24 month horizon. - Guided SAP Business One integration definitions and provided new product positioning for the Small/Medium Business market. Channel expansion increased sales by $250k in 12 months.- Designed new framework and methodology to rapidly bring new/updated parcel carrier solutions to market and assure compliance with specifications. Reduced adoption time of new carrier services by 6 months and increased revenues to carriers.- Developed over 15 new alliances with Parcel Carriers in Western Europe and Canada resulting in 200% growth in International Service offerings for Kewill customers.- Managed and delivered RFP responses with a potential total contract value of over $10.8M.- Organized technical and sales process training and sponsored pre-sales engineering training.
