Managed start-up to $12 million, packaging Technology Company creating worldwide markets and operations then guided company through IPO and sold to Bosch GBH in ’96:

Licensed technologies to companies worldwide including Eagle Doeboy, USA, Albert Fisher, UK, Heinz Watties, Australia and Simplot New Zealand;

Developed/marketed proprietary technology into consumer goods companies in U.S.A, Europe, and Asia Pacific

Oversight of C.O.O, VP Sales & Marketing and VP Engineering; Managed $2 million budget in six countries

The Clorox Company

Manage $350 million (from $200MM) international sales and services for $1.7 billion Consumer Products Company.

Reported to President, Clorox International, served as member of International Strategy Committee. Directed sales in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, China, Latin America, Canada and Mexico. Managed export logistics including distribution of raw materials to plants, finished goods and WIP to trade. Coordinated three area general managers and 25 country managers, directed export and logistics managers.

Manage $50 million (from $25MM) sales in Europe, Middle East and Africa for $200 million Clorox subsidiary.

Established export business in 9 African countries, 5 central and 6 Western European nations.

Managed $4.2MM budget, 4 regional managers, 15 country managers; Directed operations in Saudi Arabia Yemen and Egypt plants for initial supply into all Gulf States.

Manage domestic UK sales and European exports for $240Million (from $180) Beverage Company.

Directed $17 million budget, oversight of 2500 direct and indirect reports via 8 Divisional Managers (NB: Cola Wars)

NATIONAL ACCOUNTS CONTROLLER (1983 to 1986)

Manage national accounts for Cadbury-Schweppes in Spain and UK, directed 19 sales managers.

Launched two full ranges of soft and alcoholic beverages each year and took all but one (Pepsi) to brand leadership.

Recruited new sales management team, increasing retail sales by 25% in two years

Joined company as Territory Manager (1977-79; promoted to Regional Manager wholesale, drug and department stores (1979-81) and Senior National Accounts & Export Manager (1982-84).Four time repeat European Manager of the Year.
