§Reporting to the Director, heading a team of 25 members, supervising / maintaining functions of the accounts department in a highly automated and computerized environment.
§Handling managerial & financial accounting related activities including: liaison, banking, budgeting, costing, cash management and preparation of P&L statement.
§Managing the final closing of accounts at the end of financial year, liasing with banks, submitting various bank reports, returns etc.
§Supervising the functions of the internal audit department, coordinate with statutory auditors for successful completion of statutory audit.
§Managing costing & budgeting, preparing budgets for different cost centres of the parent company and individual associated proprietorship firms.
§Looking after fixed assets, ensure compliance with various accounting standards.
§Managing general affairs
§Handling Income Tax related matters of the company & all other group concerns such as: preparation and filling of returns, assessment proceedings, other liaison work in taxation & maintenance of records.
§Handling the computerization of accounts including computerization of payroll and attendance system
