  • Worked on a Datacenter migration project that involved moving all the network and server infrastructure from one location to another as well as a cabling plan, rack elevations, and  procurement to build out the data center
  • Setup Hyper-V replication between two sites for critical systems in order to maintain offsite fail-over capability
  • Setup and managed multiple Hyper-V clusters for hosting VDI desktops and  production Windows 2008\2012 and Linux virtual servers.   Built and configured System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM) 2012 server and designed logical network infrastructure to setup a Private Cloud
  • Setup and managed highly available load-balanced Remote Desktop Session Host farms (Terminal Servers) for Shared Desktop use
  • Managed, upgraded, and maintained several SolarWinds applications servers Network Performance Monitor, NetFlow Traffic Analyzer, Network Configuration Manager, Server & Application Monitor, Storage Manager and Virtualization Manager
  • Managed and administered Backups  using Veeam for VM Backups and Replication
  • Worked on  a  migration project  to upgrade a Hyper-V cluster from 2008 R2  to 2012 R2
  • Installed and configured Symantec EndPoint Protection (SEP) Antivirus on several servers from centralized console while working with the security team. Applied Exclusions policis  to the Hyper-V cluster storage
  • Accessed and managed a domain level account involving  servers, virtual desktops and service accounts
  • Managed, maintained and setup several Hyper-V Host servers on a Windows Server 2012 cluster
  • Maintained, and monitored server hardware Using Dell OpenManage, Lifecycle Controller (UEFI) as well as iDRAC (out of band)
  • Functioned as a team member in a Data Center operations support team and after hours on-call support
  • Trained and mentored new team members on the Virtualization environment and Data Center infrastructure
  • Administered and performed upgrades on Dell Equallogics and Compellent SAN. Carved out storage space in the form of Cluster Shared Volumes (CSV) to customers
  • Worked with Cisco and Dell For 10 Switches for configuring ports and VLANs as well as performing maintenance on them
  • Applied Powershell and SQL scripts to resolve issues with Systems center applications, virtualization, and to automate processes
