·Provides advanced practical and theoretical skills in order to perform, evaluate, and determine the  reliability of test results or procedures.

·Responsible for compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies (e.g., CLIA 88, JCAHO,  CAP, and OSHA).

·Serves as an advisor between the point of care department and the Cerner Millennium Team.

·Supervise and train Medical Techs, RNs, LPNs, Physicians, and MAs in all areas of point of care  testing. Responsible for writing and revising laboratory procedures for the nursing staff
