Description:Macrovision Corporation is the market leader in electronic licensing, copy protection, and digital rights management technologies.Macrovision FLEXnet, the world's first universal licensing platform, enables customers to easily price, package and protect their software. More than hundreds of Fortune 1000 companies use Macrovision technologies to better manage their software licenses. Company is having large amount of data in various data sources.

    Role:The Roles and Responsibilities were as follows:

·ETL developer and Report developer (both Adhoc & Static).

·Modified the monitoring of packages with optimize performances.

·Involved in package migration from DTS into SSIS.

·Worked on Report model to generate Reports.

·Worked on Sub-reports & Link Reports and configuration of Report Server.

·Developed database procedures, triggers and SQL Scripts.

·Involved in Client calls regarding project updates.

·Involved in backup and recovery of database.

·Involved in resolving issues related with subscription parts.

·Responded quickly and effectively to production server for the better performances of the    packages.

·Worked on troubleshooting part during installations of Report Server.

2.  Project:       Sales Dashboard (Jan 20087-Sept 2008)

Description:

Intercall is the largest conferencing service provider in the world. It is the data warehousing project meant for reporting purpose. Here we generate five types of reports which fetch data from huge tables every month and it usually takes five days to run. We have now created a procedure which pull the data from different tables and upload the data in on to one table in accordance to the report, so now the whole process takes only one day

Role: The Roles and Responsibilities were as follows:

·Creation of web intelligence and desktop intelligence reports.

·Creation of various packages in database and dashboards.

·Reports in web Intelligence to display data.

·Performed data testing and report testing at unit level.

·Testing and preparing functional and technical documentation according to SDLC.

3. Project:      Westcon (Sept 2007 – Jan2008)

Client:      Westcon Inc. (Tarry Town, NYK U.S.)

Database:Oracle 10g

Description:Westcon Group is a multi-national specialty distributor ofnetworking technology products servicing the solution provider, integrator and value-added reseller community. To Track and manage their Sales and Distribution, they use JD Edwards One World Xe which they call Compass. The product is heavily customized according to their business needs and is in continuous customization phase with the changing business needs of the different regions they serve across the world. Our role is to fix any issues or customize the software as per the requests made either by the user or by the business. Proper system is into place to keep track of any work done on the product for any future reference.

Role:The Roles and Responsibilities were as follow.

·Performing user requirement studies, analysis, design and development following SDLC.

·Understanding the old system process to map it with new requirement.

·Report development using JDE tool.

·Design and development of application & reports.

·Working on Master Business Functions.

·Bug fixing and modification to various reports and applications.

·Perform testing and preparing functional & technical documentations.

·Maintaining documents according to SDLC.
