Teaching private lessons to trombone, euphonium and tuba students beginners through masters level.  A high rate of success has been maintained as students have advanced to State levels and have secured college scholarships in music performance.

Able to navigate basic paths and  to conduct necessary reasearch
Wrote a series of three trombone method books, wrote 4 pieces for band, over 50 trombone arrangements much more in the works
Compiled ITA recital information, wrote paper on Grieg. Rearched modern trombone techniques and conducted phone interviews
Recitals in college, at Rice and Church performances, clinic demonstrations, orchestra concerts Guest appearances
Teaching privately 25 years, public school, trombone ensemble, heavy recruitment for band and ensemble,UND, Concordia, paraprofessional, substitute teaching

Writing, cooking, reading, art, listening to different music than I'm used to, traveling,meditation and visualization, helping wayward young people,inteernet exploring, disc golfing, being with my kids, watching movies and gardening.
