Senior position of the product certification team. Lead the team members to process the product identification for clients.

Responsible for training new co-worker and being the deputy when manager is away.

Daily routine

Collect the product information from clients and prepare the official documents for BSMI to confirm the products’ certification process and type-test.

 

Inform sales department to prepare the quotation for clients, then discuss and arrange the working schedule with relative departments.

 

Received the product sample from client, examine every parts of the product through engineer departments. And inform the client to modify the parts which are not meeting the safety laws.

 

Once the products can comply with the safety laws, prepare the whole test report (include CDF), and visit the BSMI every Wednesday to review the report. Then report to the client for further revision and update the certification schedule.

 

Practice an urgent procedure for those imported products without any registration. Reduce the process time from two months to one week.

 

Contact the EMC laboratory and clients to prepare all technical documents. Then perform a consistency check to those documents for applying certificate.

 

Other duties

Attend the BSMI conference to sort out new announcement for clients.

 

Remind and collect the annual fee from clients to extent the certificate before the expiry date.

 

Train new coworkers by introducing the BSMI requirements, safety laws and general project procedure.
