I am currently a first year pre-commerce student at the University of Virginia and am interested in pursuing a career in either finance or the healthcare industry. I believe the healthcare industry is a very dynamic field that continually adapts to provide for the changing needs of the population. The passing of new healthcare legislation will affect all parties in the healthcare industry, ranging from primary caregivers to health insurers and should make the industry an exciting environment to be involved in for the near future. At the same time, I believe being an analyst would give me the opportunity to develop my understanding of many different types of businesses and industries while putting my skills and strengths to work.
