Media Portfolio

My name is Erin Crandell, I am currently finishing my freshman year at American University. I have lived overseas my entire life; in Bejing China, Quito Ecuador, Nairobi Kenya and most recently Abu Dhabi UAE. Right now I am studying to be an International Relations major, with a double major in Communications Studies. I would like to focus on the effect of Media in Society, especially in relation to International Development. I love sports, reading, traveling, art and music. I currently write for American University's "The Scene", as a book columnist. This summer I am staying in Washington DC, and working as an intern at Voice of America radio.
