Summary

I am the 7-12 principal at Napoleon Public School.  During my time in Napoleon, I have led my team of teachers through the successful implementation of Multi-Tiered System of Supports for Behavior (MTSS-B).  Our positive behavior reinforcement system has hi-lited the behaviors that we want to see in our students and actively endorses our school values: integrity, growth, and community.  Prior to my employment in Napoleon, I was an Education Specialist, New Teacher Mentor, and Literacy Coach for Northwest Area Schools - ESA 5 serving teachers and administrators in twenty-one school districts in north central South Dakota.  My areas of my expertise surrounded the comprehensive analysis, planning, and delivery of school improvement strategies, helping schools identify and remedy their areas of weakness.  Becoming a principal has provided me with an opportunity enhance the school district I am employed with while utilizing my educational foundation, leadership skills, and invaluable work experiences.
