An entrepreneur and graduate student, Donovan McKendrick currently divides his time among coursework at the University of San Francisco and his role as Owner of American Homes Realty and DMcK Properties. Founding American Homes Realty and DMcK Properties in 2002, Donovan McKendrick has spent the last eight years focused on a variety of activities related to leasing and management of real estate throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. In May 2009, Donovan McKendrick earned licensure as a Real Estate Broker in the state of California and has leased more than $1.5 million in properties over the course of his career. As an undergraduate at San Francisco State University, Donovan McKendrick seamlessly managed his studies with his endeavors in real estate. Graduating cum laude in August 2007 from San Francisco State University, Donovan McKendrick received a B.A. in Political Rhetoric and a B.A. in Tourism and Development and fulfilled course requirements as a double-minor in Political Science and Criminal Justice. In addition, Donovan McKendrick earned certification in Conflict Resolution during his time at San Francisco State University. Upon graduation, Donovan McKendrick entered a dual Juris Doctor/Master of Business Administration program through the University of San Francisco School of Law and the Masagung Graduate School of Management. A recipient of several scholarships from the University of San Francisco, Donovan McKendrick maintains a superlative academic track record, consistently ranking in the top 20 percent of his law school class. A member of several scholastic organizations, Donovan McKendrick formerly served as President of the M. Sullivan Chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta Legal Honor Society, President of the Criminal Law Society, Vice President of the American Constitutional Society, and Community Outreach Director of the San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association. Donovan McKendrick has also been an active participant in the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and the International Law Society.
