Aug 2009 - Present
Hi, my name is Lauren Frager and I am a student here at American University, majoring in Public Communications with a minor in Graphic Design. Originally from Austin, I graduated High School and moved to Israel for a gap year program called Young Judaea Year Course. During my gap year in Israel, I had various volunteer jobs while also taking classes for college credit. I was trained as a First Aid Responder and spent three months working on an ambulance team in Kfar Saba, Israel. After that, I moved to Bat Yam (a small city outside of Tel Aviv) and volunteered as an English tutor at a Children's Soup Kitchen.
Now, as a student at American University, I have decided that my ideal career would combine Marketing, Design, and Public Relations. I would like to spend the next two or three years focusing on getting internships and gaining professional experience in those fields.
