• Manage and prioritize development projects for Oak Hill with input from business users.

• Manage the upgrade of Wall Street Office suite of products from 10.3.2 to 10.3.4. Actively involved with managing the infrastructure setup, upgrading custom reports, modifying existing code in PowerShell, C#, VBA and SQL to extract data from the new versions, modifying existing interface code in PowerShell and C# to load data into the new versions etc. Work with the vendor consultants and business users in migrating existing data and reports, and also testing the new version.
• Manage, design and develop firm-wide intranet for providing visibility into investment data to the portfolio managers, analysts and traders. The intranet is built using .Net Framework 4.5 (C#, ASP.Net), AJAX, jQuery, Entity Framework, DevExpress ASP.net controls and SQL Server 2008 R2.
• Manage, design and build a time tracking tool in C#, Spreadsheet Gear UI control and SQL Server for accounting, legal and tax users to log billable hours. Used Squirrel for Windows for one-click deployment.
• Create highly customized Excel reports using C#, Windows services and VBA using data from SQL Server and Mongo DB databases.
• Create custom reports on the intranet using ASP.Net (C#), DevExpress UI controls, jQuery, SSRS and SQL Server.
• Create applications in Excel using VBA and C# to load pricing data into the SQL Server database.

• Create and maintain reports in Wall Street Office, a portfolio management application, using proprietary reporting language and SQL. Manage project for the upgrade of the system.

• Managed offshore developers and outside consultants during custom development of online, market research surveys and tools for customers.
• Designed and architected a hosted, web-based application named Luminate using .Net Framework 3.5 (ASP.Net/C#), AJAX, LINQ, DevExpress UI controls and SQL Server 2008. Luminate was targeted towards franchisors and franchisees to provide them with comparisons, rankings and benchmarks on all the key performance measures that drive profitability and cash flow into their system. It is a hosted, business intelligence (BI) application that consolidates the individual franchisee’s financial data and generates key performance and management reports.
• Assisted in the production support and maintenance of Luminate as a Windows application built using .Net Framework 2.0 (WinForms/C#), VB.Net, Crystal Reports and SQL Server 2000.
• Managed the infrastructure for the company in hosting the web applications (Windows Server 2003/2008, IIS) and administer the SQL Server databases (2005/2008) on servers hosted with a 3rd party hosting provider.
• Architected and built a web-based Student Management System for IAU’s School of Medicine, as a hosted (SAAS) application that can be used for admission management (tracking all stages of the admission process), student management (tracking student information, courses registered, course grades, graduation information, transcripts etc.), and management reporting. The application is built using .Net Framework 3.5 (Net/C#) and SQL Server 2005. Also responsible for the production support and maintenance of the application.

• Managed several projects using agile methodology for building and enhancing web sites using Net Framework 2.0 (ASP.Net/C#) and SQL Server 2005 for Highland. Managed the team of three to seven external consultants and 10 internal developers. Participate in the steering committee for the projects. Involved in the architecture and design of the web sites. Built data import processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for importing data from external providers.

• Designed & developed multiple web sites to provide financial data regarding mutual funds and bank loans to investors, using Visual Studio.Net 2003/2005 (VB.Net & C#), SQL Server 2000/2005, Visual Studio Team System, SQL Server Reporting Services and Adobe Photoshop CS2.
• Implemented and customized SalesForce.com, a hosted customer relationship management (CRM) system.
• Managed the implementation of a SharePoint portal for management of legal documents, and also the implementation of K2 workflow software by consultants.

• Worked as a Technical Lead for a project to build a web-based application using JBuilder X (Java, JSP and JavaScript), and Oracle (stored procedures and triggers, in PL/SQL) for AT&T. Responsibilities included gathering requirements, designing the solution, database modeling and application development. Also, included building a Java application to load data into an Oracle database from fixed-width text files and Excel spreadsheets, and also to extract data out of the database to text files.
• Project managed and built multiple, web-based switch-to-bill data reconciliation tools using Visual Studio.Net 2003 (ASP.Net, VisualBasic.NET (VB.Net), C#, ADO.Net, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript and XML), and SQL Server (SQL, stored procedures in T-SQL, and DTS) for Sprint. Responsibilities included project management, architecture design, database design, data analysis and application development.
• Designed and built an intranet site for Ernst & Young, containing an online phone book, skills database and document repository, using Visual Studio.Net (ASP.Net, VB.Net, ADO.Net, Web Services, HTML, JavaScript and XML), and SQL Server. Responsibilities included analysis, design, application development and database development. Web service was used for database access.
• Created an application in C to parse AMA data records generated from various (telecommunication) switch equipment and save the data into a SQL Server database. Built a website using Visual Studio.Net (ASP.Net/VB.Net) to run this tool and display the results and other related information.
• Managed and designed data marts and applications using SQL Server, Access and VBA to store customer and financial data extracted from a Teradata data-warehouse, and for creating financial reports on revenue and volume data by customer, for SBC and its subsidiaries (Southwestern Bell, Ameritech and Pacific Bell).
• Designed and created an application using Access and VBA for importing and storing budget and capital expenditure data, and for creating financial reports for Exodus, a web hosting company.
• Worked as a Business/Data Analyst for Hewlett-Packard for gathering functional and technical requirements, and design (using Rational Rose and Erwin) for building a CRM database in Oracle (database modeling and PL/SQL).
• Worked as a Systems Analyst to perform an assessment of the current state infrastructure and propose a blue print for the future state infrastructure for iTravel, a business-to-business (B2B), “managed travel services” company. • Worked as a Lead Developer on a project for SNG, for developing a client-server billing and scheduling system. Designed and developed the system using Visual Basic, Oracle, C++ and CORBA. Also, responsible for gathering business requirements, performing code reviews, and managing the development team.
• Worked as a Developer on a multinational project for DEC to build a client-server sales compensation application. Involved in the development of some components of the application using Visual Basic and Oracle (stored procedures, triggers and SQL). Also involved with the implementation and production support phases of the project.

• Worked as a Developer on a project for developing an imaging (scanning, editing and storing) product using Visual Basic, Image Basic, Oracle and ATC ForeReview.
• Designed and developed a system for the automatic classification of chromosomes in human blood cells, using a neural network classifier and transportation algorithm in C, on a Sun workstation.
• Designed and implemented a neural network for recognition of handwritten characters and digits using back propagation algorithm, in C, on a Sun workstation.
