SilverLeaf Financial founder and CEO Dwight Shane Baldwin launched the Salt Lake City, Utah-based company in 2007. Since then, Baldwin has led his company to become a leader in the prompt monetization industry. SilverLeaf Financial is a private equity firm that purchases pools of performing and non-performing loan pools from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC); upon purchasing the loans, SilverLeaf Financial converts them into legal tender. Dwight Shane Baldwin also founded SilverLeaf Mortgage and SilverLeaf Real Estate. Before launching SilverLeaf Financial, Dwight Shane Baldwin collaborated with Merrill Lynch for more than three years, where he was responsible for client acquisitions and business expansion. Baldwin's efforts totaled nearly $600 million during his time with Merrill Lynch. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Dwight Shane Baldwin supports a number of charities and nonprofit organizations. Baldwin is a Board Member of the National Shaken Baby Foundation and the Northern Utah Chapter of the American Red Cross, and is also a member of the National Exchange Club, a collection of groups around the country that campaign on behalf of social causes.
