Hi! My name is Holly Jane Wasechek. I am 24 years old, Cauasian female, native English speaker. I was born on November 21, 1986 in Milwaukee, WI. I lived in Milwaukee, WI, USA my whole life. I'm single, I love to travel and see the world. I studied abroad in Linz, Austria learning about governement policies in social welfare and researched about refugee policies. As well as, traveled to New Orleans, LA for Hurricane Katrina, where I volunteered as a counselor in Behavior Clinic and researched on how people cope in natural disasters through their culture. I volunteered in numerous community service, such as Habitat for Humanity, Toys 4 Tots, Martin Luthern King Mural Project, assisting the elderly, and mentoring and tutoring kids in local schools. I have a lot experience working with kids. I volunteered at Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring and tutoring program and Boys and Girls Club, working in a YMCA educating and working with kids. I recently finished my undergrad degree in Social Work and finished my internship at the Jewish Home and Care Center nursing home. I have a great passion for helping others, and think my resume offers well round experience in many different things. I always had the desire to teach, especially English. English is one of my strengths and favorite subjects in school. Before I go in to my professional field or start a family, I want to teach abroad. I think this will give me great experience working with people from a different culture. Social Workers need to be well rounded individuals in their profession.
