My goal is to obtain a Public Relations or Communications position with a company in the Quinte area
During my time in the one year Post-Graduate Public Relations program at Loyalist I took part in many fundraisers and events to benefit charities in the local community. My courses covered topics such as event management, crisis communication, digital media, social media, fundraising and PR freelancing.
I graduated from the Radio Broadcasting program majoring in production. During my time at Loyalist in the radio program I took part in dozens of events and remotes where I represented 91X, the college radio station in a professional manner. In addition to that I was a regular on-air personality, wrote copy and created promotional campaigns for 91X. During the 2008/09 year I was the President of the CJLX Board of Directors. I also received the Hardisty award for outstanding academic excellence, as well as the Chum Kingston Radio Award which I received as top producer in the program.
