A Brief Profile

I am passionate about learning, teaching, history, and traveling. All my interests work together to enhance my teaching abilities. I am also a military spouse who knows the importance of community involvement and cultural awareness. I have also traveled and/or lived in places such as Turkey, Nicaragua, France, and Japan. I want to share my real world experiences with my students. I recently finished my Master of Arts in Education along with student teaching for the Department of Defense Pacific schools (DoDEA) in Misawa, Japan. After my education I worked for DoDEA Pacific as a substitute teacher along with volunteering in many classrooms from Sure Start to 12th grade. These positions have allowed me to further my educational skills within a variety of cultural and teaching experiences. I now want to find a new secondary teaching position in order to further grow as an educator.
